Hi I am Gayathri Guru Krishnan,
I am a normal girl from a middle class brought up in Delhi, I was raised with deep values of respect, help and contribution to society.
I have been consistently good at academics.
Got married at the age of 22 and first child at 24 and second child at 28 years.
The picture of life seemed so perfect.
But, when I was left to handle my life I was shattered because I could not make decisions.
I did everything that everyone suggested to succeed in life but I failed.
Because everything I did was not resonating with my inner self, my mindset was not accepting and something inside was directing me to take ownership and pursue what connects with my true self.
And it was not easy.
And this was accompanied with motherhood.
The battle was within. I faced the hard emotions, fear, anger, anxiety, guilt, blaming people around, self criticism, expectation and acceptance issues.
